About the Role

Execaire Aviation is seeking skilled technicians to service, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, modify, install, and functionally test various avionics systems and equipment, including radio, radar, cabin management, and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install interconnecting wiring between major units, remote controls, and indicating devices.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Assist in the removal and re-installation of interior furnishings.
• Carry out minor repairs to aircraft interiors.
• Certify avionics installations using company-issued ACA when required.
• Inspect components, parts, units, and materials to ensure they meet Transport Canada/F.A.A./E.A.S.A. Company standards of airworthiness.
• Potentially be responsible for the conformity of manufactured interior components and furnishings.

Requirements

• Relevant trade school diploma and/or a suitable apprenticeship program OR College degree in Avionics or equivalent.
• 2 years of work experience in AC-DE electronic theory, aircraft audio systems, communication and navigation equipment, pulse techniques, auto pilot and/or flight control systems, and applicable civil aviation regulations.
• Hold an Avionics "E" license (M1/M2 is an asset).
• Obtain full YYZ AVOP and RAIC within the first 6 months of employment.
• Ability to lift at least 32 lb. overhead.
• Comfortable with working an 8 pm to 6 am shift on a 4x4 rotation.
• Must be fully autonomous and accountable.
