About the Role
Partner with the COO to drive execution on high-priority cross-functional initiatives, manage the company's operating cadence, and own strategic projects from company planning to 0→1 initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive the company’s operating cadence, including weekly leadership syncs, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning cycles, and annual offsites.
- Act as the COO’s strategic thought partner, shaping agenda priorities, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-through on decisions.
- Build connective tissue between the COO and functional leaders, maintaining visibility into work streams, surfacing blockers, and driving cross-functional accountability.
- Drive the company’s performance dashboard, interpreting metrics and narrative for leadership.
- Partner with Finance and Data to develop models, forecasts, and scenarios for goal-setting and resource allocation.
- Translate business performance data into actionable insights for the COO, leadership team, and board.
- Own coordination and end-to-end execution for the COO's highest-priority strategic initiatives.
- Answer strategic questions by breaking down ambiguous problems, structuring analysis, and delivering recommendations.
- Take on 0→1 projects, standing up new processes, running pilots, and building infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years at a top-tier consulting firm or high-growth tech company in strategy, operations, or chief of staff roles.
- Experience building and running operating cadences (business reviews, planning cycles, executive forums) at a fast-moving company.
- Experience working directly with a COO, CEO, or C-suite executive, managing up, anticipating needs, and communicating with precision.
- Track record of driving cross-functional alignment and accountability on complex, ambiguous initiatives.
- Comfort with quantitative analysis and financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets) to support strategic decisions.
