About the Role
Bay Area Foot Care is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff by performing clinical and administrative duties to meet patient needs and ensure efficient practice flow.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients on the phone and in person
- Place patients in exam rooms
- Take patient vital signs
- Assist with and set up for examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient files
- Apply dressings, bandages, and splints as ordered by the podiatrist
- Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
Requirements

- Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound
- Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen
