About the Role

This early-career role within the Demand Side Platform team focuses on building real-time bidding and programmatic advertising infrastructure. The position is designed for engineers eager to learn and contribute to high-impact, scalable systems while integrating AI-assisted development tools into their daily workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to coding tasks including unit and system testing, pair programming, and AI-assisted code generation.
  • Review AI-generated output for accuracy, security, and alignment with engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to break down epics, features, and stories.
  • Apply spec-driven development practices through specification reviews.
  • Develop foundational skills in Java, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Build familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code concepts like Terraform and AWS CDK.
  • Gain exposure to SQL/NoSQL data stores and in-memory caching concepts like Redis/Valkey.
  • Troubleshoot issues using traditional debugging and AI-assisted root-cause exploration.
  • Support platform modernization by assisting with legacy code updates and migrations.
  • Apply secure coding practices and participate in AI-assisted vulnerability analysis.
  • Document processes, patterns, and best practices.
  • Communicate status, challenges, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Foundational programming skills in modern languages, with exposure to Java, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Basic understanding of software development concepts including version control, testing, and the SDLC.
  • Eagerness to learn cloud platforms, data stores, and infrastructure tooling.
  • Openness to adopting AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn Agile and Value Stream-based delivery models.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset.
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
