Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions to tool manufacturing problems using standard techniques
  • Participate in teams using 6 Sigma tools
  • Support daily technical production needs
  • Manage individual parts or subassemblies
  • Research new materials and competitive products
  • Document functional requirements and translate into design documents
  • Participate in Make-Buy analysis for product components
  • Design 3D models using Creo Parametric
  • Perform basic FEA using Ansys Workbench
  • Troubleshoot technical problems using vendor-specific diagnostic guides
  • Document hardware, software, and communication resolutions
  • Participate in setting evaluation standards for troubleshooting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional CAD software experience
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Professional application of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Successful completion of a drug screen
