About the Role

The Financial Planning & Strategy (FP&S) team at Checkr is looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance- Go-to-Market to partner with Enterprise and Mid-Market sales businesses. This role will translate business performance into financial insights and drive decisions to increase market share, offering high visibility and collaboration with the executive team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead strategic finance partner to executives across GTM teams.
  • Build trusted relationships to become a go-to thought partner.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows, automated analyses, and intelligence systems.
  • Assess current and future strategic priorities.
  • Quantitatively validate and advocate for the highest-ROI initiatives across the GTM organization.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations for go-to-market tactics, product experiments, and cross-functional roadmaps.
  • Build frameworks for evaluating sales efficiency and productivity.
  • Partner with Data Analytics to develop predictive and automated reporting.
  • Own a significant portion of long-range and annual planning processes.
  • Develop and grow a high-performing analyst.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience, including 4+ years covering sales.
  • Foundational experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting preferred.
  • Experience with consumption-based business models is a meaningful plus.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through financial analysis and strategic insight.
  • Demonstrated success driving sales strategy, planning, and performance management.
  • Experience building AI models, workflows, or automated analyses.
  • Expert-level modeling ability, translating complex business drivers into clear frameworks.
  • Strong executive presence; communicate with clarity and conviction at all levels.
  • Experience with Salesforce, BI tools (e.g., Omni), SQL.
  • Proactively identify problems and thrive when the answer isn't obvious.
  • A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
