About the Role

We are seeking an early-career Product Manager comfortable in technical environments to manage the product development process end-to-end. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, collaborate with engineers and quants, and gain hands-on design experience with direct coaching. This role offers the opportunity to shape product development, contribute to an AI-assisted approach, and impact the energy transition.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end product development process from requirements gathering and sprint planning to delivery within a loosely Agile framework.
  • Take ownership of Agile ceremonies over time.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal business users, translating requests into clear requirements.
  • Proactively shape product development, push back where needed, and contribute to prioritization and scope.
  • Work directly with quants and engineers to translate complex model outputs into usable product experiences.
  • Challenge assumptions and advocate for the end user.
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning for specific product areas.
  • Gain ownership of a roadmap area independently as you grow.
  • Get hands-on with design, including mapping user flows and defining interfaces.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback with coaching from the Head of Product.
  • Contribute to the team's AI-assisted development approach.
  • Shape AI features and agents built for internal business use over time.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a product management role, or equivalent experience in a closely related discipline (e.g., business analysis, UX, technical consulting).
  • Comfortable in technical environments: able to read code, hold informed conversations with engineers, and jump into hands-on prototyping.
  • Proficient with coding agents and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Solid grounding in core product and delivery concepts: sprint-based and Kanban workflows, qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Exposure to design research methods and UX heuristics is ideal.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with a range of internal users from operators to senior leaders.
  • Ability to push back constructively and bring clarity to ambiguous or competing demands.
  • Comfortable operating in an environment where processes, products, and priorities are still being defined.
  • Ability to bring structure to undefined environments.
  • Empathetic by default: listen carefully to user needs and advocate for them.
  • High standards and the ownership to act on them; notice and ensure resolution of issues in datasets, designs, or specs.
  • Active user of AI tools in day-to-day work.
  • Structured thinker: communicate clearly, frame problems well, and make a coherent case for decisions.
