About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Commercial Partnerships Associate to join the Growth team. This role focuses on Zable's new products, including car insurance and mobile, and involves managing go-to-market strategies on price comparison websites, building partner relationships for customer acquisition, and providing analytics for product development. You will combine data analysis with external relationship management, take ownership from the start, and collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Credit teams in a fast-paced launch environment. You will be embedded within the growth team, trusted to drive growth initiatives, and handle projects independently.
Responsibilities
- Own the launch of Zable car insurance and mobile on price comparison websites, from initial partner conversations through integration, go-live, and ongoing optimization.
- Manage channel performance post-launch, tracking volume, conversion, and cost of acquisition at the partner level, identifying drivers of change and necessary actions.
- Manage partner relationships, balancing focus on strategic partners with incubating new ideas and ensuring partners meet delivery milestones.
- Prepare analysis to support commercial decisions, including data pulling, forming clear viewpoints, and presenting findings.
- Negotiate customer acquisition costs and commissions with key partners, identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Pricing, Data, and Compliance teams to scope integrations, conduct due diligence on new partners, and drive projects forward.
- Monitor the mobile and insurance partner markets, tracking new entrants, product changes, and competitor moves, and sharing insights internally.
- Gradually assume full responsibility for strategy and execution of specific partner projects, marketing efforts, or product enhancements that drive business growth.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of experience in a commercial, consultancy, partnerships, analytical, business development, or account management role, preferably in financial services or a high-growth tech environment.
- Highly numerate and analytical, proficient in manipulating and visualizing data using AI-assisted SQL/Python, and using commercial modeling for decision-making.
- Strong communicator capable of representing Lendable externally and building trusted relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve work efficiency, such as automating tasks, speeding up analysis, enhancing written output, or finding faster solutions.
- Outcome-driven and proactive, skilled in prioritization, independent project management, and delivering high-value results.
