About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of technology, customer success, and innovation, guiding customers through technical sales, account engagement, and thought leadership to help them build secure software.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with prospective customers by understanding their technical and business needs
- Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts
- Articulate the value of security, quality, and compliance solutions
- Support customers throughout their journey to drive adoption and satisfaction
- Partner with customers to plan and scale deployments in enterprise environments
- Ensure seamless transitions from evaluation to implementation
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars
- Engage with customers and peers on application security trends
- Contribute to technical communities and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Requirements
- Hands-on software development experience in C/C++, Java, C#, or Objective-C
- Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Perl
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles such as Sales Engineer, Consultant, or Technical Support
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with application security and software quality tools
- Ability to travel within Japan for customer engagements
- Native-level Japanese and professional proficiency in English
