About the Role
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work within a global team of DevOps Network Engineers, Product Owners, and Product Managers to ensure the efficient operation of Cisco offices and remote/hybrid working solutions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects across our technology portfolio, utilizing creative problem-solving to deliver advanced business capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical prototype environments and concepts.
- Support existing platforms and network solutions, including WAN, LAN, and Core.
- Work independently or as part of a team using the SAFe methodology.
- Identify and automate processes to streamline team operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations (1 week in every 6) covering weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
- Recent or upcoming graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) or a certification program (e.g., Bootcamp or Apprenticeship). Equivalent experience is accepted.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in technologies such as Networking (Routing, Switching, and WAN/SDWAN).
- Automation/Programming interest (Python, Ansible, REST, APIs are advantageous but not essential).
- Familiarity with Virtualization Technologies (VMware, OpenStack, Docker are advantageous).
- Able to legally live and work in the country for which you are applying.
