About the Role
As Manager, Human Resources - FSC, you’ll help shape an exceptional employee experience across our Field Support Centre. In this impactful role, you’ll partner with leaders and employees to bring Sephora’s people strategy to life, foster an inclusive and high-performing culture, and support talent at every stage of the employee journey.
Responsibilities
- Champion the engagement, development, and retention of corporate employees across the full employee experience, helping foster an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing workplace.
- Partner with leaders to execute engagement surveys and action plans that strengthen team connection, culture, and overall employee experience.
- Provide coaching and guidance to employees and leaders on policies, procedures, employment practices, conflict resolution, and change management.
- Lead employee relations matters, including escalations, investigations, corrective action, and terminations.
- Support iCare/Open Door processes and escalation management, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and resolved in alignment with Sephora’s ethical workplace standards.
- Support attendance, leave, and accommodation processes, ensuring accurate tracking and policy alignment.
- Lead the onboarding experience for FSC employees, continuously enhancing the process.
- Oversee termination, severance, and separation workflows, ensuring approvals and documentation are managed smoothly.
- Support the annual performance appraisal process, including calibration, documentation, and leader enablement.
- Lead the objective-setting process for client groups, aligning individual goals with business priorities.
- Manage performance management processes, including ongoing coaching, documentation, and formal Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Support LVMH reporting and compliance efforts in partnership with senior HR leadership.
- Manage salary planning processes with attention to detail, fairness, and alignment to business objectives.
- Partner on organization design and headcount planning for FSC client groups.
- Manage and track contract and leave extension processes.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly people metrics, trends, and insights to leadership.
- Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with HR and leadership teams, providing visibility into employee relations trends, engagement drivers, and workforce insights.
- Partner with US counterparts to support annual processes through a broader North American lens.
- Support the development and delivery of HR leadership sessions designed to elevate leader capability.
- Partner with leaders to assess performance trends, identify risks, and proactively address issues.
- Coach and support leaders through performance conversations, PIPs, and corrective action.
- Support succession planning and talent forecasting for FSC client groups.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, and Finance to support workforce planning, onboarding, and role activation.
Requirements
- 6 years progressive HR experience in a corporate environment and at least 3 in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Experience supporting Director and VP level leaders in a corporate environment, with demonstrated ability to lead and deliver results through others.
- Prior employee relations experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including influencing and ability to encourage innovation.
- Highly collaborative style with demonstrated ability to work in teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task and exercise independent judgement.
- Sound judgment and discretion; able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
