About the Role
Guidehouse’s Life Sciences practice helps pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and diagnostic companies develop custom solutions. You will partner with clients to deliver product planning, pricing, reimbursement, product commercialization, and regulatory and compliance solutions. The Value & Access team provides commercialization strategy and market access services, ranging from go-to-market planning to launch value story, pricing, and reimbursement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement pricing and access strategies for pharmaceutical assets.
- Develop project proposals with senior staff.
- Manage consulting teams in developing and communicating client deliverables.
- Maintain client relationships.
- Oversee development and review of project deliverables.
- Facilitate client presentations.
- Support business development and the project sales cycle.
- Manage and develop staff, including performance management.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and staffing.
- Create corporate- and product-level market access strategies.
- Design and manage project teams to execute pharmaceutical market access and pricing strategy projects.
- Design and lead primary interviews with key stakeholders.
- Train and develop junior consulting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, biomedical engineering, business, or healthcare policy preferred.
- 6+ years of transferable consulting or relevant biotechnology/pharmaceutical work experience in market access, reimbursement, pricing, and/or health economics.
- 3+ years of direct experience in client management and content delivery roles.
- Demonstrated track record of managing direct reports and teams of experienced consultants.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including drug development and launch.
- Experience developing, designing, and executing qualitative and quantitative market research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
