About the Role

Ziegler is seeking a well-established Managing Director/Director with relevant relationships with for-profit senior housing (IL/AL/MC) and skilled nursing owner/operators to join the SHCFP team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with senior housing M&A and financing transactions, and strong relationships with large and middle-market senior housing and care providers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new client business development within areas of expertise and geographic regions, and provide leverage for other team members.
  • Manage resources efficiently and effectively to adapt to marketplace changes.
  • Act as the business advocate for both clients and the Ziegler SHCFP Team.
  • Build bridges with other Ziegler businesses to enhance scale and improve bottom-line margins.
  • Enhance a strong, positive image and reputation, upholding honesty, integrity, and credibility.
  • Determine appropriate fee arrangements.
  • Establish clear definitions of target clients.
  • Establish meaningful, measurable goals and milestones for sector coverage to ensure organizational objectives are met.
  • Understand the firm's competition and communicate the Ziegler Value Proposition to clients.
  • Maintain an outstanding personal brand in senior housing and care, providing exceptional client service and creative financing solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking or similar corporate roles.
  • Proven leadership skills with high standards of character and integrity.
  • Demonstrated access to clients and leaders in the healthcare sector.
  • Ability to communicate vision and direction confidently in written and oral presentations.
  • Series 79, and/or 24 designations are desirable.
  • Results-oriented, pragmatic, hands-on style with a bias toward action.
  • Ability to execute aggressively against strategy and focus on delivery of business and performance objectives.
  • Focus on processes, customer, and people management to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent consultative, collaborative, and influencing communication skills.
  • Ability to set clear and deliverable goals.
  • Demonstrates resilience, passion, and commitment to deliver and be accountable for results.
  • Thorough yet concise communicator of revenue goals and budgets.
