About the Role
Ensure that the parts and materials received from suppliers meet the highest quality standards, driving supplier performance and operational excellence. You will work closely with teams across the business, lead the resolution of supplier non-conformities, and foster a high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing incoming inspections to ensure all purchased parts meet quality requirements
- Defining and maintaining control plans and inspection processes
- Providing tools, instructions, and support to inspection teams
- Leading the resolution of supplier non-conformities (NCRs)
- Collaborating with suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Ensuring quick containment actions to protect production
- Managing a team of Supplier Quality Engineers and Inspectors
- Monitoring supplier KPIs and leading improvement plans
- Partnering with Procurement and Supply Chain to align on supplier expectations
- Supporting key projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing or quality roles
- Experience managing supplier (external customer/stakeholder) relationships - mandatory requirement
- Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, control plans) and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO, etc.)
