About the Role

Arcus FM is seeking a Refrigeration Specialist in Central London to provide technical expertise, excellent customer service, and work towards challenging targets to reduce call volumes. This role is crucial for maximizing efficiency within our refrigeration delivery, identifying and resolving ongoing problems, and contributing to a safer, more productive delivery model.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate refrigeration systems using software technology
• Monitor and acknowledge repeat issues and sites
• Assess, design, and implement strategies to mitigate risk and minimize further issues
• Provide support to Air Conditioning and MER PPM teams
• Align strategy across departments for greater synergy with the Refrigeration team
• Showcase expertise
• Mentor and develop others

Requirements

• C&G Fgas 2079
• Full UK driving licence
• Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in refrigeration
• CO2 qualification or ability to demonstrate experience in this area
• C02 Pack familiarisation with Green & Cool, SCM, Advansor
• Hydrocarbon qualification – CARE (desirable)
• An eye for detail when studying technical and work order data
• Achievement of first fix, or making temporary measures to maximize equipment uptime
• Ability to work unsupervised and work with planning teams to design your working day
• Exceptional written reporting skills that can be interpreted by technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Exceptional IT skills which can be used to program C02 controls
• Significant experience in the retail or industrial refrigeration sector
• Commercial awareness resulting in less repeat failures

Salary/Compensations

• £60,410
• Full door-to-door pay
• Additional earnings available through overtime
• Up to 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets
