About the Role
As a Personnel Planner, you will be the organizational core of our rail operations, ensuring train personnel are in the right place at the right time. This role directly contributes to the reliability, safety, and service quality of our trains.
Responsibilities
- Personnel planning, duty, and shift scheduling for train personnel
- Coordination of vacation, training, and absence times
- Organization of travel and hotel bookings for new employees
- Management of hotel contingents for train personnel
- Close collaboration with dispatch, recruiting, and operations control
- Support with administrative tasks related to train personnel
- Use and maintenance of planning tools (Wilson, Navan)
- Participation in the continuous improvement of processes and workflows
Requirements
- Fluent German language skills (min. C1), English is an advantage
- Experience in personnel planning, dispatch, or shift planning
- Knowledge of the railway industry is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Understanding of the Working Hours Act (ArbZG)
- Strong organizational skills, structured, and solution-oriented
