About the Role
Gravie is seeking a dynamic Data Analyst to drive quantitative and qualitative analysis for its innovative healthcare solutions, with a focus on Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs). This role is crucial in managing and developing benefit solutions, reshaping how employers offer benefits, and reinventing healthcare purchasing and access.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in helping Gravie understand business performance and identify new opportunities.
- Translate insights into solutions that improve health benefits and healthcare received.
- Ask and answer critical business questions regarding performance and future strategy.
- Take ownership of regular deliverables for various business units, producing accurate and efficient solutions.
- Assist in the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative analyses to support product evaluation, management, and growth.
- Use analytic and communication skills to tell stories with data, transforming datasets into actionable insights.
- Influence business decisions and product roadmaps with clear, data-driven narratives.
- Support a culture of data-informed decision-making within the organization.
- Apply quality assurance measures to ensure analytical deliverable accuracy and reliability.
- Contribute to the analytics platform's design and enhancement by partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate data insights into business strategies and product improvements in a scalable fashion.
- Collaborate with other Analysts to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, technical certification or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Economics, or other relevant area.
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills with experience working with real-world datasets.
- Ability to translate data into business impact by crafting clear, data-driven narratives for stakeholders.
- Quantitative proficiency, including a solid understanding of basic mathematical and statistical concepts.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyze large and complex datasets.
- Experience using SQL to query databases and explore data.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or another statistical programming language.
- Excellent attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Habits of excellent organization, time management, and responsiveness.
- A flexible attitude and ability to work independently with limited direction.
- An appetite for learning and quickly putting what you learn into practice.
