About the Role

As part of our fast-growing travel-tech company, you will work at the intersection of infrastructure, operations, and commercial planning, ensuring our network remains attractive, reliable, and economically successful even during extensive construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and optimization of the annual timetable concept, considering the impact of planned infrastructure measures.
• Analyze the effects of construction projects on the FlixTrain network and derive well-founded recommendations and alternative concepts.
• Evaluate commercial impacts on demand, revenue, and costs using data-driven analyses with Excel, BI tools, and initial AI applications.
• Develop implementable solutions for construction-related challenges in collaboration with the Commercial Planning, Operations, and Operations Planning teams.
• Prepare for external stakeholder meetings with DB InfraGO, the Federal Network Agency, and other partners, representing FlixTrain's interests.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of traffic geography in Germany and interest in the interrelationships between infrastructure, operations, and economic viability.
• Analytical thinking, strong numerical understanding, and very good Excel skills.
• Initial professional experience in Network Planning, Transport, Infrastructure, Consulting, or a comparable field.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work style combined with strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration.
• Fluent German and English skills (C1 level).
