About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Host (m/w/d) on a mini-job basis, you will be part of the F&B team, ensuring guests receive exceptional food and beverage service. You will be the first point of contact, creating a positive impression and ensuring a smooth operation.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile, creating a positive first impression in the restaurant, bar, or at events.
- Coordinate guest seating based on reservations and current occupancy for smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, appealing setup, and a welcoming atmosphere in the reception and waiting areas.
- Inform guests about menu options, specials, and upcoming events.
- Take reservations, manage reservation lists, and efficiently handle the table plan.
- Support service staff as needed to ensure seamless service between the kitchen and guests.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, or complaints professionally and helpfully to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
- Experience in the gastronomy sector is an advantage, but not required.
- German language skills.
- A 'doer' with a genuine hands-on mentality.
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for gastronomy.
- Ability to find creative solutions and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Reliability and enjoyment of working in a demanding environment.
