About the Role

Our mission is to execute R&D projects funded by governments worldwide and support innovation at Rakuten Mobile. We collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage R&D projects, handling finance and administrative tasks for government-funded initiatives. This role offers opportunities for broad knowledge and diverse experience through extensive communication.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales representatives for project formation
  • Negotiate with relevant ministries and agencies for project formation
  • Prepare proposals to secure financial support from relevant ministries and agencies
  • Manage projects implemented with secured financial support
  • Manage budgets and risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
  • Respond to audits
  • Report project implementation status to relevant ministries and agencies
  • Prepare post-project completion reports for relevant ministries and agencies

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of practical experience
  • At least 3 years of government service or government-related work experience
  • Communication skills for negotiation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Native Level of Japanese Language
  • TOEIC score of 600 or equivalent English proficiency/skills

Salary/Compensations

  • Monthly salary: JPY300,000 ~ (Breakdown: Base salary JPY 227,848 + fixed overtime pay for 40 hours JPY 72,152)
  • Salary determined individually based on experience, etc. for fixed-term employees
