Responsibilities
- Manage the Portfolio Services team for assigned clients.
- Oversee service delivery and client sentiment.
- Manage new client onboarding processes.
- Develop strong risk management and controlled environments.
- Conduct high-level analysis to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Streamline operations and implement process improvements.
- Liaise with global colleagues for client issue resolution.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Investment Book of Records and Start of Day readiness queries.
- Ensure timely response and resolution to client queries.
- Perform daily checks on file deliverables and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor Shared Services functions to identify operational trends and improvement areas.
- Manage Client Change Request items impacting enterprise processes and operating models.
- Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding issues and follow-ups.
- Provide guidance and support to team members.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Extensive asset management experience including investment operations, fund accounting, and portfolio valuation.
- Broad understanding of the asset management industry across various disciplines.
- Portfolio Valuations reconciliations and investigations experience.
- 8-10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in client communication and interaction at all levels.
- In-depth understanding of Middle Office operations, specifically Trade Management Operations.
- Knowledge of Equity, FI, FX, and ETD products.
- Understanding of key technology supporting investment management operations.
- Understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
- Strong English written and spoken ability.
