About the Role
As a Financial Analyst II on the Incentive Compensation team, you will partner with Finance and Sales leadership to ensure compensation programs are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. You will manage commission calculations, reporting, and analysis, leveraging tools like CaptivateIQ to provide insights for strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the intersection of finance, operations, and sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to finance and sales leadership regarding compensation and financial planning and analysis with minimal oversight.
- Build and manage Captivate IQ workbooks, dashboards, and calculators for accurate and efficient commission calculations.
- Perform analyses to provide actionable insights to senior leadership on compensation, pricing, or other financial matters.
- Act as a subject matter expert for sales compensation.
- Provide monthly performance reports to senior leaders on compensation performance and the efficacy of changes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness, presenting recommendations to leadership.
- Adhere to SOX compliance guidelines and provide regular reporting to illustrate compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales operations and financial analysis.
- Experience with a compensation calculation tool, preferably CaptivateIQ.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong data presentation skills to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional Excel modeling skills.
- Ability to partner and influence business leaders; proven teamwork skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for making an impact.
- Previous SAAS or eCommerce and public company experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across time zones.
