About the Role

Fever is seeking a Business Development professional to connect the world's best experiences with the largest audiences, helping the live entertainment industry grow and evolve. This role involves building long-term partnerships, strategic thinking, and problem-solving across various business aspects, acting as a partner and advisor to ensure client success.

Responsibilities

  • Own deals end-to-end: from sourcing and pitching to contract negotiation, launch, and partner growth.
  • Create and cultivate deep business relationships with the biggest producers, creators, venues, and key stakeholders in the entertainment industry.
  • Expertly manage contract negotiations with large partners ensuring sustainable economics and long-lasting value for both parties.
  • Contribute to Fever’s growth strategy for Japan, working directly with senior leadership in one of our fastest-growing markets.
  • Evidence strong organizational skills to effectively balance and grow a large base of clients.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to successfully deliver on partner growth across Japan and internationally.
  • Keep up to date with everything cool that’s happening in entertainment; think of yourself as the expert for new and trending experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years track record of success in sales or business development in a fast-paced environment (e.g., ticketing, entertainment, media, hospitality, or tech sales); consulting or partnerships experience also welcome.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in Japanese and English, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong desire to bring on new businesses as well as grow and manage an existing book of business.
  • Self-starter mentality with an ability to work in a demanding, dynamic start-up environment.
  • Demonstrated data-driven approach to business and task prioritization.
  • Comfort in working with Microsoft Office, Google docs, and a Sales CRM (Salesforce is preferred).
  • Knowledge of Japan’s entertainment, events, and lifestyle trends.
  • Experience in the event, entertainment, or media industry is a plus but not required.
