About the Role
Raymond James Ltée is seeking an Associate, Learning and Development to join the Private Wealth Group (PWG) team. This hybrid role will be based in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. The Associate will enhance employee skills by designing and delivering branch training programs to drive employee performance, aligning with core company values. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, designing curriculum and materials, and managing all phases of branch training. The role involves creating various learning documents such as job aids, e-learning, microlearning sessions, newsletter articles, and videos, as well as facilitating webinars and workshop-style training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PWG teams and RJL divisions to identify target employee training requirements and needs.
- Assist with the layout, editing, and organization of training content.
- Produce user manuals on standard business procedures (job aids).
- Evaluate training effectiveness by measuring and assessing participant feedback.
- Provide 'ad hoc' training for new employees across all Raymond James departments.
- Ensure training content is regularly updated through a review or update process.
- Stay informed about new trends and tools in staff development.
- Deliver remote and in-room training.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in learning and development, training, and/or adult education.
- Required experience in the financial services or securities brokerage industry.
- Post-secondary education in learning principles or a certificate in continuing education or adult education.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
- Experience with in-room training for adult learners.
- Available for occasional travel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
- Advanced proficiency in French, both oral and written, is required.
