About the Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you'll be the trusted face of IT for our centre teams, providing Level 2 support, resolving technical issues, and ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and operational. This role is primarily remote, with regular travel to dental centres across your region for incident response, maintenance, technology health checks, and project support. You'll also play a key role in supporting technology rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 IT support across hardware, software, networking, and end-user technologies
- Support technology projects, upgrades, and system implementations
- Conduct technology health checks and preventative maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket records through Jira and other support tools
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with specialist technology teams
- Support the delivery of a secure, reliable, and high-performing technology environment
- Contribute to process improvements and best-practice IT support
Requirements
- Previous experience providing Level 2 IT support, ideally within field services, healthcare, or a multi-site environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using remote support tools and ticketing systems such as Jira
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work independently, prioritise competing tasks, and manage your time effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel regularly between centres within your region and occasionally interstate when required
- Must hold a Blue Card for paid employment in QLD (at no cost to you)
