About the Role
This role proactively collaborates across functions to ensure a unified customer experience throughout the lifecycle, managing time, communications, and expectations. It serves as a technical liaison between customer environments and Cisco product teams, providing feedback to influence product evolution. The position is responsible for designing, deploying, optimizing, migrating, and troubleshooting software-based solutions, offering timely support, and leveraging software engineering expertise to automate deployments and drive innovation. The role also develops vertical market expertise and builds understanding of vendor and competitor products, while creating reusable software tools, APIs, and automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Work on intermediate-level software integration and automation assignments.
- Execute implementations and create deliverables.
- Expand knowledge of Cisco's products and software stack.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
- Engage with customers independently and build customer relationships.
- Participate in customer meetings to understand needs and map outcomes to project scopes.
- Build relationships with customers and develop trust through follow-through and collaboration.
- Connect and communicate project activities to medium-term customer outcomes.
- Apply consulting tools like AI-driven planning, analytics, and change management.
- Align project scopes with customer goals.
- Develop and test automation scripts and middleware.
- Serve as the initial escalation point for software-related implementation or migration issues.
- Build and use test environments to validate integration and middleware behavior.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Cisco software platforms and third-party integration methods.
- Apply secure coding practices, Agile, and DevOps methodologies independently.
- Communicate architecture and integration concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Help create and refine intellectual capital by gathering lessons learned and best practices.
- Contribute to a repository of best practices, reusable templates, and standardized materials.
- Apply AI tools to streamline routine tasks.
- Stay informed on automation trends and validate AI outputs.
- Apply foundational consulting and collaboration skills.
- Develop an understanding of the range of solutions offered to the customer.
- Take ownership of team deliverables.
- Build connections to solve problems and contribute to a unified experience.
- Work with customers alongside Senior CEs, Architects and Technical Leaders, CX delivery teams, Cisco Account Teams, and Partners.
