About the Role
IAG is the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand. This 12-month opportunity is based in Sydney and focuses on providing accurate and timely processing of payroll activities.
Responsibilities
- Support Payroll Team leader and Payroll Services team in day-to-day operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees and statutory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all processes, external laws, regulations, and internal audit requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve incidents, analyze and complete requests.
- Identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, standardization, and automation of processes, practices, and systems.
- Build strong relationships with Service Provider Teams.
- Emphasize strong communication via email, phone, and face-to-face.
- Participate in monthly customer service reviews.
Requirements
- 1-year Payroll officer experience or similar role.
- Strong ability across payroll, finance, HR, and reporting.
- Reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
