About the Role

IAG is the largest general insurance group in Australia and New Zealand. This 12-month opportunity is based in Sydney and focuses on providing accurate and timely processing of payroll activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support Payroll Team leader and Payroll Services team in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees and statutory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with all processes, external laws, regulations, and internal audit requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents, analyze and complete requests.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, standardization, and automation of processes, practices, and systems.
  • Build strong relationships with Service Provider Teams.
  • Emphasize strong communication via email, phone, and face-to-face.
  • Participate in monthly customer service reviews.

Requirements

  • 1-year Payroll officer experience or similar role.
  • Strong ability across payroll, finance, HR, and reporting.
  • Reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
