About the Role

Join our Digital & AI Transformation initiatives under Edwards Japan Quality team (Waku Waku DX Japan) working on real-world, Digital tools, and AI systems. This internship is designed not only as a learning experience but also as an opportunity to actively contribute to real business impact with a hands-on engineering role. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about innovation, technology, and business transformation to gain real-world experience in a global corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Build and support AI-enabled applications and platforms
Support Digital Transformation and AI initiatives across Japan organization
Assist in development and implementation of AI / GenAI use cases
Perform data analysis, visualization, and insight generation
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions
Contribute to digital tool adoption (e.g., Copilot, automation tools, analytics platforms)
Participate in pilot projects and proof-of-concept activities
Document learnings, best practices, and outcomes

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Strong foundation in software engineering and object-oriented programming
Curious, motivated, and passionate about AI and technology
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
Must be currently enrolled as a student at a 4-year university (graduating December 2026 or later).
Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Master’s or PhD in a related field.
