  • Develop a thorough understanding of the system's architecture and data model.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and validate financial data.
  • Support investigations and reporting requests from Finance and Operations.

  • Review the system from a user perspective to understand business operations and translate insights into technical improvements.
  • Write clear, maintainable documentation for system behavior, business logic, and investigation findings.
  • Actively build knowledge of financial concepts including lending, payments, and reconciliation.
  • Surface problems found within the system.
  • Grow with the role as Brighte embraces AI tooling.

  • Exposure to React or a similar modern frontend framework.
  • Comfort with HTML and CSS.
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and version control with Git.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in work: AI coding assistants (such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code), prompt design, or basic LLM API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
  • A computer science, software engineering, or related technical background, or equivalent self-taught experience.
  • A side project, hackathon entry, or learning project that uses LLMs, RAG, or AI agents in a non-trivial way (Bonus).
