About the Role

As an Automotive Technical Training Instructor within the Quality & Service Division, you will deliver technical training to the Toyota and Lexus dealership network in New South Wales. You will play a key role in upholding the 'Fix it right' philosophy, driving dealership profitability, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Toyota technical training content and new model technical content according to policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and training content to align with long-term business plans.
  • Support management in ensuring regional technical training activities are effective and flexible.
  • Provide specialist training to improve service quality and resolve customer concerns.
  • Monitor and analyze performance against targets and recommend countermeasures.
  • Maintain reporting systems to support planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Liaise with dealers through site visits and regional travel to identify training needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements, including WHS.

Requirements

  • Formal trade qualifications as an Automotive Technician (Motor Mechanic).
  • Strong automotive technical knowledge with significant experience as a senior technician.
  • Experience in a dealership environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Self-motivated with an innovative approach to problem-solving.
