About the Role

The NSW Police Force is seeking a Business Consultant (Clerk 7/8) to support the HCM Recruitment & Onboarding Solution (PageUp) within the Enterprise Resource Planning Program. This role will provide expertise and analysis in the development, design, implementation, review, and improvement of business processes and procedures to support effective customer service. The Business Consultant will act as a key link between business and technology, ensuring the solution is fit-for-purpose, effectively supported, and continuously improved.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all queries, requests, and issues relating to the HCM Recruitment & Onboarding Solution
  • Provide advanced technical and functional support, including integrations, reporting, analytics, and complex (Level 3+) issue resolution
  • Develop and implement a support operating model, ensuring effective and sustainable service delivery
  • Coordinate and manage business support activities, including allocation of requests to Super Users across Recruitment & Onboarding streams
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, providing expert advice and guidance on HCM processes and system capabilities
  • Lead workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into system improvements and enhancements
  • Maintain deep subject matter expertise of the HCM solution and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with HCM systems (e.g. PageUp, Workday or similar), particularly Recruitment and Onboarding.
  • Strong capability in system support, including reporting, integrations, analytics, and complex issue resolution
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, with a deep understanding of HR processes and system functionality
  • Proven experience developing or contributing to service delivery/support models
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and influence outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and present to senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands in a high-volume environment
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
  • Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
