About the Role

The Advanced Clinical Expert will provide educational and clinical support for complex inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients, working with a high degree of independence. This role contributes to the development of solutions for diagnosing, monitoring, and managing heart failure.
Responsibilities
- Educate customers on best practice CardioMEMS and Merlin.net workflows within targeted strategic, enterprise accounts, and IDNs.
- Proactively manage key partner relationships to strengthen overall solution capabilities and drive greater client value and CardioMEMS program adoption.
- Analyze market dynamics to identify greatest needs and opportunities.
- Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
- Provide technical, sales, education, and clinical support for complex field inquiries.
- Demonstrate a thorough command of all HF products, related product and technical knowledge, trends, and players.
- Provide provider/facility adoption direction, system training, workflow development, test planning support, and communications support to the client and implementation team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Training and Development to provide feedback for improved customer experience and optimize implementation processes.
- Act as an Advanced Clinical Expert internally within defined targeted accounts and within the Abbott HF organization.
- Develop, lead, and/or facilitate trainings and other programs on HF products to healthcare professionals.
- Remain current on developments in fields of expertise, regulatory requirements, and maintain a good working knowledge of company and competitor products, markets, and objectives, as well as industry trends.
- Communicate effectively and deliver company-approved presentations to large groups.
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts to Technical Services and appropriate sales leadership and recommend strategies for retention.
- Provide implementation opportunity forecasting and update account/opportunity details to management and the Salesforce CRM System.
- Functionally direct and mentor new hire staff within the organization.
- Attend and participate in company and professional meetings, including conferences and webinar calls.
- Understand administrative reporting responsibilities and maintain and submit accurate and timely reports.
- Maintain and manage time, travel, and expenses within set corporate guidelines and policies.
- Competent in computer operation including Microsoft WORD, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Requirements
- Inpatient and/or outpatient Heart failure program experience.
- Overnight travel 50%.
- Working in a team-selling environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
- 5 years or more relevant working experience required.
Skills
- Advanced practice degree such as NP, CNS, or PA.
- Heart Failure and/or Cardiovascular experience.

- $86,700.00 - $173,300.00
