About the Role

At Stafl Systems, Engineering Technicians are hands-on problem solvers who support prototype builds, system assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of complex lithium-ion battery systems. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools, test equipment, hardware, and cross-functional engineering teams to improve product performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Build and rework harnesses, fixtures, and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Set up and run test plans with proper instrumentation and data capture.
  • Execute environmental, durability, and functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot test setups, equipment, and hardware under test.
  • Analyze results and prepare clear test reports.
  • Support handoff from R&D into early-stage production.
  • Maintain safe, organized, and compliant test areas.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a technician, test, manufacturing, or related role.
  • Hands-on experience with high-voltage or high-power systems.
  • Experience with test equipment such as power supplies, DAQ systems, and electrical instrumentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations.

Salary/Compensations

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary, sign-on bonus, plus an equity award.
