About the Role

The Data Engineer will design and establish the data, reporting, and operational analytics foundation for the AMPS facility in Tolleson, AZ. This role focuses on identifying improvement opportunities and developing technical solutions to enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, warehouse, and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve data visibility, reporting effectiveness, and business decision-making.
  • Design and implement data structures, dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and IT to define data requirements and reporting priorities.
  • Support operational excellence through root cause analysis and standardized metrics.
  • Establish standards for data governance, data quality, and reporting consistency.
  • Provide recommendations on reporting strategy and technical design.
  • Resolve data-related issues and document key definitions and reporting logic.
  • Participate in startup and transformation initiatives to establish digital and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–7 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or related technical roles.
  • Experience designing and implementing data models, reporting solutions, and performance measurement tools.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SAP reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP, manufacturing, or warehouse systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, startup environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship.
