About the Role

As a Warehouse Receiver at IMS, you are responsible for the efficient and accurate receiving of material to the warehouse and for contributing to the overall positive customer experience at Independent Mechanical Supply.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and efficient detailing and receiving of inbound material, re-stocking, and putting away of material
• Loading and unloading delivery and courier vehicles
• Quick turn-around of receipt to order fill
• Working in co-ordination with quotations/shipping on job releases, including non-stock goods pending release dates
• Error/change handling with vendors and product line buyers
• Assisting other departments as required
• Maintaining a professional, respectful and collaborative attitude towards customers and co-workers
• Maintaining a neat and clean work area
• Compliance with all government and warehouse regulations, policies, procedures and rules

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience as a licensed counterbalance forklift operator
• Experience using manual material handling equipment is an asset (e.g. hand trucks/pump trucks)
• Ability to work one half Saturday every month
