About the Role
This role involves picking, staging, and delivering automotive parts to professional customers while building relationships and promoting sales programs. The position requires a focus on customer service, inventory maintenance, and safe delivery operations.
Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers
- Pick up returns and cores
- Distribute sales flyers and promote loyalty programs
- Collect payments for credit accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase transaction value
- Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot
- Perform general stocking, back stock management, and cycle counts
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals
- Engage walk-in customers to recommend appropriate parts or services
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs
- Proficiency in basic math including fractions and decimals
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
