About the Role

We are seeking a Line Cook to join our team. This role is crucial for preparing menu items to specification, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You will be responsible for ensuring food quality and safety standards are met while working in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Make prep recipes and cook menu products to spec
• Receive and order product
• Properly label, date, cover, and refrigerate prepped food items for the line
• Perform opening, closing & side duties – setting up, stocking, and breaking down all kitchen equipment and prep, line, expo stations
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, line, expo, dish room and back dock
• Practice safety and sanitation standards
• Have a sense of urgency
• Properly read items printed on order tickets or automated Kitchen Display System
• Assemble orders - double check product quality and specs
• Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge
• Handle all re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group procedures

Requirements

• Previous Line Cook experience required
• Ability to stand or move for long periods of time
• General knowledge of all safety & sanitation standards
• Recycle products, where possible
• Remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere
• Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency
• Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers
