About the Role

Snowflake is seeking a qualified Account Executive with industry expertise and a "hunter" mentality to join our expanding Majors sales team. This role involves creative prospecting to acquire net new business and customers, focusing on client requirements throughout the sales cycle. It offers a unique opportunity to meaningfully contribute to high-visibility, high-impact projects, requiring autonomy, accountability, and openness to new ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on Snowflake’s product and conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT roadmaps to drive the Snowflake solution.
  • Prospect qualification and development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities with accounts in your region.
  • Achieve sales quotas by developing a sales strategy, target prospect list, and regional sales plan.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience with consistent success meeting or exceeding sales objectives selling technical solutions and software products into the enterprise market.
  • A track record in securing new logos.
  • Demonstrable experience executing enterprise complex sales strategies and tactics within Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and/or AI/ML.
  • Familiarity with a solution-based selling approach.
  • Experience managing a complex sales process.
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills, organization, and contact management capabilities.
  • Ability to build the product and company as if it were your own, defining and executing sales plans to meet strategic & financial targets, leveraging industry, partner & Go-to-Market knowledge.
  • Ability to provide open, honest, and respectful feedback, creating an inclusive work environment.

  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
