About the Role
Seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to create digital and print assets that elevate the brand and build lasting connections with the audience. Responsibilities
- Assist in creating visual content for social media, email campaigns, packaging, and promotional materials.
- Assist in creative writing for content, email campaigns, packaging, and promotional materials.
- Support the design team in maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop engaging visuals for campaigns and product launches.
- Design and build visually compelling, high-performing emails directly in Klaviyo, including animation/GIF usage, dynamic product pulls, personalization, and responsive layouts.
- Edit and prepare images and graphics for web and print use.
- Stay current with design trends, especially those relevant to cannabis, wellness, and lifestyle branding, including politics and law/regulations.
- Organize and manage design files and assets.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams.
- Potentially assist in store openings and/or physically building displays.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Two years of professional design experience (internships or freelance work welcome).
- Sick portfolio showcasing creative work, preferably with lifestyle or cannabis-related themes.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience using Monday.com, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Video Editing and GFX (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with web design tools (Figma, Wordpress).
- Experience with Klaviyo or other email platforms and building dynamic, engaging emails on the platform.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
- Expert in showing up on-time and on-point.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
- Equal willingness to learn as well as teach others what you know.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
