About the Role

Seeking a passionate Graphic Designer to create digital and print assets that elevate the brand and build lasting connections with the audience. This role offers a playground of opportunities to develop and execute ideas within a creative studio environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, punctual, present, and thrives in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating visual content for social media, email campaigns, packaging, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in creative writing for content, email campaigns, packaging, and promotional materials.
  • Support the design team in maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop engaging visuals for campaigns and product launches.
  • Design and build visually compelling, high-performing emails directly in Klaviyo, including animation/GIF usage, dynamic product pulls, personalization, and responsive layouts.
  • Edit and prepare images and graphics for web and print use.
  • Stay current with design trends, especially those relevant to cannabis, wellness, and lifestyle branding, including politics and law/regulations.
  • Organize and manage design files and assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other teams.
  • Potentially assist in store openings and/or physically building displays.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Two years of professional design experience (internships or freelance work welcome).
  • Sick portfolio showcasing creative work, preferably with lifestyle or cannabis-related themes.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience using Monday.com, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with Video Editing and GFX (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Familiarity with web design tools (Figma, Wordpress).
  • Experience with Klaviyo or other email platforms and building dynamic, engaging emails on the platform.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Expert in showing up on-time and on-point.
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
  • Equal willingness to learn as well as teach others what you know.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
