About the Role

The Project Scheduler manages scheduling activities across assigned projects, ensuring schedules are accurate, integrated, and compliant with contractual requirements and company standards to support efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling activities across assigned projects
  • Communicate bottlenecks and potential risks to project teams
  • Balance input from multiple stakeholders while maintaining logic integrity
  • Communicate schedule status and analysis findings to the project team
  • Identify recurring inefficiencies in reporting, updates, or coordination
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods and trade sequencing to improve schedule realism
  • Review logic ties, durations, and calendars for accuracy
  • Customize reporting structures for client and stakeholder priorities
  • Update and re-sequence activities to support mitigation plans and safety risks
  • Prepare schedule documentation including milestone charts, phase maps, and summary logic diagrams
  • Develop logic-driven project schedules
  • Train others in scheduling practices and digital workflows
  • Identify critical and near-critical activities, slippage trends, and risks
  • Engage with project management, field teams, and trade partners
  • Supervise Assistant Project Schedulers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience
  • 2-3 years of scheduling experience
  • Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge
  • Proficiency with scheduling software including P6, Microsoft Project, and Phoenix PM
  • Ability to commute locally to an office or project site
  • Occasional regional travel
  • Must provide a resume

Experience Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred

Salary/Compensations

  • $113,000 - $170,000
