About the Role

This pivotal leadership role leads the team responsible for Stake's trading platform and the journey beyond. You will be at the helm of a high-performing team of engineers, driving the technical and cultural foundations for Stake's next-generation trading experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage external dependencies (vendors/partners) with strong coordination, clear SLAs/expectations, and robust failure handling.
  • Partner with Risk/Compliance and Operations to embed controls without slowing delivery, balancing customer experience, risk, and time-to-ship.

Requirements

  • An investor or trader with a depth of understanding within the space.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and understanding how responsibilities shift with team size.
  • Experience in a startup environment, understanding the pace, trade-offs, and accountability of supporting a customer-facing production system.
