About the Role

The Programmatic Account Manager is a central role within the Programmatic team, designed for an experienced, analytical, and creative individual with a passion for digital marketing. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of a portfolio of client accounts, translating strategy into flawless execution. A key part of this role involves working with our global network of freelancers (the Croudie Network) to ensure scalable, high-quality campaign delivery. You will also play an active part in defining programmatic best practice, mentoring junior team members, and working with wider teams to deliver on client Account Development Plans (ADPs). This position requires a blend of technical expertise, exceptional client service, and commercial acumen to drive growth for our clients and the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the day-to-day implementation of programmatic campaigns for key clients, ensuring performance is optimised to meet targets.
  • Manage the day-to-day client budgets, ensuring accurate pacing and financial hygiene.
  • Utilise industry-leading platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Analytics, and Campaign Manager to execute and measure campaigns.
  • Ensure all client accounts adhere to programmatic best practice, monitoring and managing all hygiene factors.
  • Provide comprehensive campaign reporting and measurement on the effectiveness of all activity.
  • Ensure all client reports are delivered on-time and to a high standard of accuracy.
  • Analyse campaign data to identify key insights, trends, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Share learnings and results with the wider Programmatic, Paid Social, PPC, and Analytics teams to drive performance and efficiencies.
  • Play an active role in defining programmatic best practice and creating scalable processes for the team.
  • Stay up to date with new market tools and programmatic opportunities that could support client strategy or our product offering.
  • Effectively delegate and manage tasks through the Croudie Network to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
  • Share new industry developments and opportunities with the wider team to foster a culture of innovation.
  • Work with wider teams to deliver on the Account Development Plans (ADPs) for each client to sustain and grow performance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, advocating for the programmatic strategy and building strong relationships.
  • Provide support and direction to Programmatic Account Executives within the team, aiding in their development.
  • Collaborate effectively with other channel teams to ensure an integrated approach to client strategy and service.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in Programmatic advertising, including but not limited to hands-on experience with platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP across display and video formats
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills
  • A mathematical and analytical mind
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Highly organised and an ability to multitask
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills which must include Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proven track record of working to deadlines
