About the Role
As a Product Engineer, you will own the test hardware, equipment, and programs supporting high-performance analog and mixed-signal IC production. You will ensure quality, reliability, and efficiency by maintaining test systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the product data sheet, bench test plan, and bench validation and characterization scripts.
- Perform board-level diagnostics and instrumentation work to maintain production system health.
- Partner with design, operations, and failure-analysis teams to identify root causes and improve yield.
- Create and maintain documentation for test results, data analysis, and hardware improvements.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams on EVM improvements.
- Support correlation, GR&R, and test time reduction initiatives.
- Continuously improve test efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
- Collaborate with the Applications team to support customer-facing and product deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with ATE platforms such as Teradyne UltraFlex, Nextest, or Advantest 93K.
- Experience with software environments such as IGXL or C/VB-based frameworks.
- Interest in product test, ATE, or hardware test development.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as C, C++, VB, or Python.
- Comfortable using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and soldering tools for debug.
- Analytical mindset with strong communication and teamwork skills.
