About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to manage and strengthen financial operations, supporting the company's next stage of growth. This role involves owning day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and precise financial reporting in a growing company environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
  • Ensure revenue is billed accurately.
  • Ensure payments are collected on time.
  • Ensure vendors and contractors are paid correctly.
  • Ensure financial reporting is timely and accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
  • Experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant in a growth-stage company.
  • Advanced QuickBooks experience required, including billing, reconciliations, reporting, accounts receivable, and multi-entity financial management.
  • Experience using Bill.com for accounts payable management, employee reimbursements, payment processing, and approval workflows.
  • Experience managing accounts receivable, billing operations, and recurring revenue.
  • Experience managing recurring memberships, subscriptions, healthcare billing, or other recurring revenue models preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
