About the Role

Partner with a luxury beauty client as an early-career Retail Designer, bringing their brand to life within the Global Store Design team. Translate ideas into visually stunning realities, covering graphics, architectural concepts, 3D renderings, and fixture creation for diverse projects like shop-in-shops, free-standing stores, and travel retail formats. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn retail design and collaborate within a corporate 'in-house' creative organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team and work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and maintaining a sense of urgency.
  • Contribute to the development, adaptation, and execution of new design concepts for retail fixtures, store layouts, and displays.
  • Create 3D renderings and design intent drawings for internal reviews, vendor design intent, and local store fabrication using SketchUp.
  • Prepare design intent drawings for prototype production, maintaining consistency and adhering to brand design guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and internal teams, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools, integrating new insights into the creative process.
  • Convey a passion for design and express a confident point of view on consumer brands in the luxury category.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in architecture or interior design, preferably in the retail or beauty sector.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and depth of knowledge of architectural materials.
  • First-hand knowledge of or interest in furniture fabrication details is a plus.
