About the Role

The Trade Desk is seeking a talented and driven Account Manager to join the Client Services team. This role involves managing and growing key accounts, providing strategic recommendations, data-driven insights, and exceptional client service. You will act as an expert on The Trade Desk platform, offering guidance, training, and contributing to platform enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key Agency Accounts by building strong client relationships, providing strategic recommendations and exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with the Trading team to rapidly onboard new customers and provide data driven insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify ways to grow current accounts.
  • Become an expert on The Trade Desk platform, offering insights to clients on how to improve campaigns and meet KPIs.
  • Provide continual training to clients as new features are added.
  • Work with Product Management to help define features and drive enhancements to The Trade Desk platform.
  • Help build the Client Services practice by creating training materials, best practices, sales materials and customer facing guides.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consultative, client-facing work with online advertising experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working within a DSP (TTD platform experience strongly preferred).
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts by forging strong client relationships, understanding objectives and recommending best strategies.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Confidence speaking to large groups.
  • Solid experience in Excel and MS Office.
  • Ability to use large data sets to build insights and strategy recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently on daily tasks.
  • Willingness to travel alongside a team 1-2 times a quarter.
