About the Role
50 Sport is seeking an in-house Talent Manager for a fixed-term contract (up to 6 months) to attract, develop, and retain talent within the agency. This role is key to shaping the future of 50 Sport and requires a deep understanding of the creative agency environment and a passion for connecting with top talent.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across all departments, including Creative, Editorial, Strategy, Client Services, Production, and Operations.
- Collaborate with department heads to define hiring needs, role specifications, and recruitment strategies.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract individuals with a passion for sport, utilizing channels like job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' fit with the role and agency culture.
- Support the HR team with the offer process, salary negotiation, and onboarding of new hires.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to hiring teams.
- Stay up-to-date on recruitment trends, market salary benchmarks, and industry best practices.
- Build a strong employer brand that reflects 50 Sport's culture and commitment to excellence.
- Work with the Marketing team to manage market presence and attract top talent.
- Network within the sport industry and attend relevant events to raise 50 Sport's profile.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
- Support the implementation of training programs to develop employee skills and foster career progression.
- Assist in the performance review process, providing guidance to managers and ensuring constructive feedback.
- Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to support their growth.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by running cultural activities and social events.
- Champion 50 Sport's expected behaviors and ensure a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, ideally within an agency, marketing, or sports-related environment.
- Team player with experience working with Exec level; experience at Board and CEO level is advantageous.
- Strong network within the sports industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Passion for sports and a desire to contribute to a dynamic, growing agency.
- Self-sufficient and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
