Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
- Manage the change management process, including identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes affecting project cost.
- Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims to ensure the client receives best value.
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and communicate variations clearly.
- Support project management and decision-making through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
- Foster top performance and growth for employees via mentorship and leadership.
Requirements
- Open to relocate in 2026 to the United States to support hyperscale Data Center campuses.
- Have a Quantity Surveying qualification with 3+ years post grad experience.
- Experience as a Cost Manager/QS, ideally from a consultancy background.
- Experience in pre-contract cost management.
- Experienced in budget control and cost planning.
- Experienced in preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable on alternative construction materials.
- Obtained chartership (RICS) or are on the path to complete it.
- Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage own priorities and deadlines.
