About the Role
We are seeking a Room Attendant (Substitute) to join our team! This is a temporary assignment. In this role, you are responsible for a combination of cleaning duties to maintain guest rooms (occupied and checked-out rooms and suites) in a clean and orderly manner, turning down guest beds. Duties include guest service, vacuuming, making beds, replenishing linens, and cleaning rooms, halls, bathrooms and delivering any other needs of the guest. You will play a key role in fostering a high‑energy environment driven by passion for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Clean rooms according to assignment sheet priority; update assignment sheet during shift.
- Each interaction presents an opportunity to deliver a memorable experience by anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and establishing genuine connections.
- Complete all set-up duties on time and own the cleanliness and appearance of the assigned area and kitchen as required.
- Assist coworkers as needed to complete the required activities and deliver amplified service.
- Always smiling and offering a warm greeting to all.
- Anticipate guest needs and act with intention.
- Deliver service that is both polished and personal.
- Take ownership of every detail of the guest journey.
- Contribute to a collaborative, energized, and high-performing culture.
Requirements
- At least two years of prior experience, ideally within a four‑ or five‑star hotel environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Ability to stay patient under pressure.
- Approach every situation with tact and professionalism.
- Comfortable being a team player and assisting guests and coworkers equally.
- Understand the rhythm of lifestyle hotels.
- Ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and maintain high standards.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
