About the Role
This is a full-time temporary position providing support in Finance and Conference areas. The role involves processing speaker reimbursement requests, assisting with financial tasks, and testing a new Salesforce Association Management System.
Responsibilities
- Processes National Conference speaker reimbursement requests accurately and timely.
- Reviews speaker reimbursement requests for proper approvals and compliance with Finance expense reimbursement policies.
- Matches reimbursement requests with speaker agreements to ensure accuracy.
- Attaches related speaker documentation to reimbursement requests for payment processing.
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding reimbursements.
- Collaborates with the Conference team to resolve reimbursement discrepancies identified by the Finance team.
- Shadows or trains with the Accounting and Finance team for month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, conference invoice reconciliations, and the 990 process.
- Assists Accounting and Finance in testing the new Salesforce Association Management System (AMS).
Requirements
- One year or more of clerical experience in accounts payable or a similar field.
- Ability to perform routine tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, work quickly, and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Performs tasks with limited supervision.
Skills
- Computer proficiency using Outlook, Word, and MS Teams.
- Basic Excel skills.
- Effective communication skills.
