About the Role

This is a full-time temporary position providing support in Finance and Conference areas. The role involves processing speaker reimbursement requests, assisting with financial tasks, and testing a new Salesforce Association Management System.

Responsibilities

• Processes National Conference speaker reimbursement requests accurately and timely.
• Reviews speaker reimbursement requests for proper approvals and compliance with Finance expense reimbursement policies.
• Matches reimbursement requests with speaker agreements to ensure accuracy.
• Attaches related speaker documentation to reimbursement requests for payment processing.
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding reimbursements.
• Collaborates with the Conference team to resolve reimbursement discrepancies identified by the Finance team.
• Shadows or trains with the Accounting and Finance team for month-end close, accounts payable and receivable, conference invoice reconciliations, and the 990 process.
• Assists Accounting and Finance in testing the new Salesforce Association Management System (AMS).

Requirements

• One year or more of clerical experience in accounts payable or a similar field.
• Ability to perform routine tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, work quickly, and meet deadlines.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Performs tasks with limited supervision.

Skills

• Computer proficiency using Outlook, Word, and MS Teams.
• Basic Excel skills.
• Effective communication skills.
